Elaine's Response

There has to be time to be a kid and a time to study. I guess it's important to find a balance. I think both are equally necessary. There is a lot more homework now than there was for the previous generation. Is there more to learn or what? What's the point of life if you don't have time for enjoyment. And what's the point of life if you don't contribute something to your world - which requires an education. Finding the correct balance would be difficult. Maybe it would help the social aspect if kids learned together in groups, giving feedback to each other and using social interaction to help in the learning process.
